This course will satisfy 7 hours PA CE. This class will explain the difference between a foreclosure and pre-foreclosure. It will begin by giving an understanding of the current real estate market and explain the timeline and events leading up to a Sheriff Sale. We will start when the home owner misses the first mortgage payment and take you through all the events and legal proceedings that lead to bank ownership. Additional information will include: ACT 91, Complaint in Mortgage Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, Homeowner Options and the Short Sale process. This course will help a real estate agent to have a detailed understanding of the basic misconceptions regarding foreclosure and an understanding of the legal proceedings and liability involved in properly educating yourself, your client and all parties involved in a real estate transaction.
